Hello To Whom It May Concern,
I ordered and received a Pocket Portable Metal Staff Self Defense Stick. There were no instructions for how to use this thing. This is an object that could put your eye out if not handled very carefully and precisely. It should certainly not be in the hands of children. It springs open in an instant with a lot of force. I looked on YouTube for help for how to work the thing and found a number of them although not from the people who produce them. Once the thing springs open and resembles a one meter long cane it is very challenging to retract it and, as many YouTube videos attest, you will likely cut yourself on the sharp edges of the coiled metal it’s made from.
Beyond all that, it is clearly NOT a very stout “defense stick”. Flimsy might be too strong a word but the videos of its stoutness are very exaggerated. So as I write this email with three bandaged fingers with cuts from retracting the “defense stick”, the whole thing has been mistake for me.
I would like my money back but I also think your company should wake up to the reality of the dangers this ineffective "defense stick" poses its users.
Sincerely,
Aaron Burgess
